Let’s get started with some of the most popular attractions in Las Vegas that we think you should see when you’re in the city…
One of Vegas’ best attractions is the nature-made desert surrounding Vegas. Nothing artificial here, just the impressive, massive desert! Hop on a hummer, join a safari tour and head to the Red Rock Canyon! We recommend a visit, or even that you stay, at the The Red Rock Casino, further away from the Strip, surrounded by the most beautiful mountains of the Red Rock Canyon. This is your chance to go extreme and join a hiking trail. For more ideas on things to do in Vegas view our other videos.

Next we suggest you visit the glittering Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas. The Vegas’ version might not be as tall as the original one in Paris, but if you take the ride up, you will still be able to get breathtaking views of the whole city that won’t disappoint you! Another way to get great city views from above is going in a thrill ride to the top of the Stratosphere Hotel, near downtown. Check out our many video guides on what to do in Vegas to learn more about this magnificent hotel as well as many nearby attractions.
A similar attraction, just as much fun, is mini New York City. Make sure you take a ride on the roller coaster, which runs on the outside and goes back inside to the core of the hotel, and see the many New York landmarks that the New York New York resort has made big replicas of. After visiting miniature New York you could imagine being in Venice – just hop on a gondola and take a ride through The Venetian – a true fairy tale style resort full of great attractions.
Another must-see is the Mirage hotel and its man-made volcano: Watch the man-made volcano erupt every hour on the hour between 8 pm and midnight. This is not the only permanent show, watch our Las Vegas shows video guide to learn about all special shows of this amazing city.
One of the most popular attractions in Las Vegas are the Bellagio fountains. Every visitor must see the spectacular dancing water. Make sure you visit the place at night as well… The sight is a true joy for everyone. Next is the famous talking statues at the Caeser’s Palace resort. A notable city sight, day and night!
What about checking out the wedding chapels? They say that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, well that’s not quite true about everything… For example, getting married in one of the many colorful and bizarre chapels!
Last but not least – don’t miss Freemont street in Downtown Las Vegas, for some urban experiences. This is a five-block pedestrian covered mall with kiosks, carts and lots of sparkling, neon lights – suitable for the whole family. Need more ideas on family-friendly things to do?
