San Francisco The Huntington Park

Going on vacation to California, and San Francisco is one of the cities you’d like to explore? Don’t forget to include the Huntington Park to your itinerary. This must-visit park is situated in the Nob Hill area of San Francisco. Here’s a few things you should know about it:

Get to know the Huntington Park in California

The beautiful Huntington Park was created after the great earthquake and fire of 1906 which destroyed the mansion of the rail barons, the Huntington family. They donated the land to the city of San Francisco, who turned it into a park. The park is located in the heart of Nob Hill neighborhood, so you can combine a visit to the park with a visit to the famous Cable Car museum. One of the main attractions in the Huntington Park is the Fountain of Tortoises, which is a replica of a similar fountain in Rome.
