Las Vegas Wynn Resort Area

The Wynn, named after Steve Wynn, is one of the most luxurious hotels and casinos on the Las Vegas Strip. Steve Wynn is a very successful casino and hotel developer – Circus Circus, the Mirage, Treasure Island and the Bellagio are just a few examples of mega hotels in Vegas that Wynn was involved in.

The Wynn Las Vegas and its sister resort the Encore, which is connected to it, count almost 50 floors together with 45 rooms and suites. This makes it one of the top 10 largest hotels in the world! The excellent casino here is one of the most recommend places to gamble in town. However, there’s so much more to do in this resort… You could go and see its permanent show “Le Reve (The Dream)” featuring aquatic ballet, a mysterious and surreal atmosphere and gravity defying stunts in an aqua theater. The show is being performed every Friday till Tuesday evening, twice a night. Or pay a visit to the Wynn Golf Club, where you can enjoy a nice game of golf. Not to mention the amazing nightclubs, lounges and bars the luxury resort offers, definitely among the best in the city!

Of course, being the “Capital of Entertainment”, there’s a lot more attractions and activities to pick from in the area. And lots of it is only a short walk (or tram ride) away! There is no reason to get bored when you’re in Wynn Resort area. Here’s a few ideas:

Explore the Wynn Resort area in Las Vegas

Across the Wynn, you will find the Fashion Show Mall, boasting more than 250 stores (such as Macy’s, Forever 21 and  Saks Fifth Avenue) and frequently hosting fashion shows in the weekends. A perfect place to spend the day for any fashion fan and shopaholic!

Just 0.4 miles (0.6 km) away from the Wynn stands the magnificent Venetian, a fairy tale like resort where you can take a gondola ride, admire the Venice-inspired decor of bridges, balconies and Italian extravagance, or head to the Madame Tussaud’s Museum. This great wax museum is a fun family attraction that could be for free if you own the Las Vegas Power Pass – check our offers to learn more about this money- and time saving product that could help you experience so much more of the city, while staying in a budget.

Right next to the Venetian you will see the Palazzo, its sister hotel. Would you like to go shopping? Then check out Barneys – the famous New York department store located in the hotel. There used to be a Lamborghini showroom here, but it was closed.

Let’s continue exploring Wynn Resort area, as we haven’t mentioned even half of the nearby attractions yet! Across the road from the Venetian and in walking distance from the Wynn is the ideal family resort: Treasure Island, where you can watch Cirque du Soleil show  “Mystere”. This is considered a classic as it was the fist Cirque du Soleil show that arrived to Las Vegas. It’s still very popular so don’t forget to pre book your tickets before you go on vacation! Already sold out? Don’t worry, there’s many more Cirque shows in town at other Vegas resorts, such as “O” (at the Bellagio), “The Beatles LOVE” (at the Mirage) and “Michael Jackson ONE” (at Mandalay Bay).
